Information Gathering

The most important stage of designing a successful website is to ensure that we clearly understand your requirements from the start. This can be achieved in a face to face meeting. via telephone or skype or you can complete our design questionnaire and email it to us. Among other things we need to understand your business, customers, competitors, target audience and purpose and goals for having a new website.

1

Planning

Based on the information gathered in the previous phase and our own market research we will put together a project proposal. This will include a sitemap outlining the suggested page structure and we will propose the features that you might wish to use (pictures, sliders, google maps, forms, You Tube, Social Media etc). We will also provide you with a high level project plan showing you the anticipated timescale for project completion. Finally we will provide a quotation both for standard and pay monthly website design.

2

Design

If you are happy with the planning stage outputs and our quotation then we proceed to the design phase. This is aimed at defining the look and feel of the site. If you have any existing branding, logo or colour scheme requirements then we would factor this in. The design will reflect the type of visitors that the site is aimed at. This is very much an iterative stage of the process. The latest design draft will be visible in a client area of our WEBPRESTO website. Once you are happy with the design then we will move into the development phase of the project.

3

Development & Testing

This is the stage where the actual fully functional website is developed. We take your content including logo, text and photos and use it to populate the agreed design template. The updated website will be made visible to you on the WEBPRESTO client area so that you can continue to provide feedback. Once completed we will carry out our own tests to ensure that all the functions are working as they should do on various different devices and browsers. We will then ask you to complete your own testing and to give us approval for proceeding with deployment.

4

Delivery

Once you are happy with all aspects of the website on our WEBPRESTO client area we will load it onto the agreed hosting platform. We will carry out final SEO checks, register the site with Google & Bing and provide them with sitemaps. Your new website is now up and running!

5

Marketing, Maintenance & Support

Your site may now be fully operational but we are still there to provide ongoing maintenance and support if needed. We will carry out minor updates and any corrections free of charge for the first three months based on information that you provide. More major updates such as new functionality or additional pages can also be provided at a reasonable cost. WEBPRESTO can also help you with ongoing Search Engine Optimisation activities and provide you with reports on visitors to your site.
